To Be, Or Not To Be
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to post innumerable blogpostings and suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous non-response, or something like that. Here I sit so broken-hearted, paid Typepad nine dollars a month and only farted. I can't even scratch up a liberal gag-reflex or some conservative consensus by posting Dick Cheney amid a host of seraphim, let alone Pulp Fiction Gimp Scene Action Figures.
For God's sake, Sugar Mama blogs about doing yard work instead of blogging and I read about it in the Village Voice. Fritz bleats to Suburban Blight about one measly cease and desist letter from a multi-national corporation and I can't find anyone who felt the love of my Animal House Deathmobile post.
What is it with you people? Is it the Spring thing? Do you have lives, hobbies, significant others you spend time with instead of compulsively linking to rankinblog? Well don't come whining to me next winter in the cold of the English Heath dusk and try to whisper sweet nothings to me about Dogging and shit, Jonny Billericay. I know Herbert Kornfeld and I will bring down the H Dog on your Brit-Git head.
Velociman seems to have fallen into torpor, switching between political outrage and random musings about single malt scotches and ants and pus blisters. At least the first season of Kung Fu is now out on DVD, so perhaps he will gain inspiration for the coming fight to supplant The Media in the Age of The Corporate Wage Slave.
Oh well. Rankinblog is basically my column and personal news service and it’s narrowcast, but this is getting ridiculous. I'm going to call my Mom and tell her about it. At least she'll post something from the home.
If this keeps up I'm going to write about racing again and then you'll really be sorry.
Until then go check out Peep Show Stories. Oooh. Two words for you. Free Porn. Lot's of it, as Rainman would've said. I'm compelled to seek out the rule book to find out what denotes "amateur" status in the Porn World. Is it as tightly defined as the NCAA or do you have to reach a certain income threshold?
Rankinblog asks questions. You provide the answers. Feh. You're probably watching another ethnic stereotype on HBO, you ingrates.
Sir, we are being dissed. There is no other explanation.

During my Saturday morning early Spring reverie, whilst photographing the remarkable bloodroot in middle Georgia's High Falls State Park, my thoughts returned again and again to RankinBlog. I love RankinBlog and visit every day to experience the ebb and flow of life, like moon driven tides, this way for awhile, then the other way for awhile, oft surprising, always reassuring. Perhaps we need your inspiration, if we have become boring. Time to write an offensive post, although if you do, I'd probably ignore it anyway (see: Acidman).

I know not the root of this general malaise that has descended on the blogsphere like some dark shit-mist. A collective pause perhaps before the political season kicks off in earnest. Perchance the machinations amongst the populace are due to the looming IRS. “Tis the time of year to get the crops in and spread some sheep shit on the compost heap. Some folks just get whacky when the Big Thaw approaches, it has been that way since the monkeys figured out life was more thrilling down in the Savannah, better grub and all. This kingdom of Blog though not a model of compact neatness with strict rules of engagement, is a miracle of community. A 24-hour store of vice and virtue and this dark gloom shall pass. Everyone is just at the bar getting a drink.
Don’t worry, soon enough the dark underbelly of the great unwashed will right itself and once again the world will spin on greased groves. And BTW, Animal House is the only redeeming thing I remember about college…

Whither is fled the visionary gleam,
where is it now, the glory and the dream?
(supposed to be good for malaise)
